Akinwale Biobaku is a technical expert, a business strategist and management consultant who has established a professional and excellent footprint in the oil and gas industry, founded, and currently managing and providing management consultancy to a couple of businesses, especially startups. He founded Quantum Strategies and Energy Solutions LTD, a business with focus on providing energy services, business strategy and support and commercial solutions. Akinwale is serving as a management consultant to Fabritent W.A LTD, an indigenous and leader in the manufacture of marquee tents and membrane structures in Nigeria, with clientele cutting across various sectors and industries.
Akinwale is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), MBA with specialism in Strategic Planning at Edinburgh Business School, Heriot Watt University Scotland, UK, member of Project Management Institute (PMI), International Association of Contracts and Commercial Management (IACCM), American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and Society for Underwater Technology (SUT), among others. He is a registered engineer of Council for Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering and Master’s degree in Process Engineering.
Prior to founding Quantum Strategies, he has worked in multinational and indigenous Engineering, EPC and Exploration and Production (E&P) companies. While exhibiting leadership and teamwork, he led and participated in the successful delivery of high profile business development initiatives, as well as engineering and EPC projects with tremendous socio-economic benefits, eliminating gas flaring and increasing gas processing for domestic utilization and power generation. Such projects include –
